Development resolutions for ground-mounted photovoltaic plants

LAOCO has received resolutions from the respective local authorities for the preparation of a project-related development plan for two additional ground-mounted photovoltaic projects. The projects are located in the district of Ravensburg on the territory of the city of Bad Waldsee, where an approximately 8 MWp solar park is to be built on an area of approximately 7.4 ha in the district of Mittelurbach. The second project is located in the Schwarzwald-Baar district on the territory of the city of Bräunlingen. The planning area there covers approx. 14 ha. The special feature there is that, in addition to generating clean electricity, the planned PV plant will also contribute to groundwater protection. The city plans to reactivate a groundwater well in the immediate vicinity. The PV plant is expected to make a positive contribution to water quality, as undesirable pollution and substance inputs will be reduced by no longer fertilizing the land. The solar park in Bräunlingen will also become part of a hybrid power plant, as LAOCO is also planning a wind farm and a battery storage system or hydrogen production in the immediate vicinity. Thus, the Bräunlingen project will become the next project with lighthouse character after the Rickertsreute project.
